Changes in our city due to the drought.

The most terrible news today have been the great fires in several countries and the high temperatures in some places. We have been having a big drought for several years now and the authorities are worried about the water for the population. So now they are taking away part of the lawn in parks, just leaving it in those places where people need it. The rest is being planted with other plants that need less water. Lawn needs water everyday where I live because there is mo humidity at all and the roots are very near the surface. I am watering less my plants and I take care of taking shorter showers. I have even changed my way of washing dishes so that less water is used for a similar cleanness. Have you changed your uses because of climate change?

We have been asked from years not to waste water, but this year we had really a lot of rain. I collect in water barrels so I can water my plants.

These last years I could not collect a small tin of water for the plants. It just won´t rain.

@marguicha The past month of July we had 300 times more rain than the average, they said we never had so much rain since 1951. We were lucky, but many had their homes flooded.

Water scarcity is the worst problem... There was drought in our area when I was in school..no rains that year..we faced so much of difficulty even for drinking water..

Our weather keeps changing and for a while we had rain every day now we have bright sun and very hot weather, The palm trees are wilting, I turn on my tap and instead of cold wat I get hot first so I do not run a lot of water during the daytime,

Yes it's terrible and dangerous when forest got caught by fire due to intensed heat. Wild fire is life threatening. Be extra careful.
