Though the history and origins are not clear, here are brief theories why the duo Friday and 13th gained a sinister reputation:
1. In a Norse mythology, a 13th guest showed up uninvited and shot the god of joy and happiness.
2. In Biblical origins, Judas, as the 13th guest betrayed Jesus.
3. Jesus was crucified on a Friday.
4. The Code of Hammurabi left out a 13th law from its legal codes.
5. A novel titled Friday, the Thirteenth written by Thomas Lawson spread the fear of the date.
What are your thoughts on this? What are the supertitious beliefs associated with Friday the 13th familiar to you?

None. Friday the 13th is just another day.
It's no more unlucky than Saturday the 14th.
Bad things happen every day but if they happen on Friday the 13th, people will blame it on it being an unlucky day.
It's nonsense.

It is very chilling to learn that Friday the 13th can be a bad day.

I don't believe it any more as bad luck, to me every day is a blessing regardless of my experience whether good or bad. They are complimentary to each other in order to let us know what we are doing.

I'm not superstitious. And as for that biblical thing, there were 12 disciples and Judas might not even have been the 12th.

I'm more on chill only to the house because its not my lucky number because I'm closed to the accident. That's what I've observed myself for the past years.
