Is there a difference between journal and scrapbook

Hello everyone, How are you? Hope you are having a great day. Today I was watched videos and I've noticed that Journaling and Scrapbooking have things in common but there's also different from each other. From what I know, journaling you can add designs and stuff also you can write on it but in scrapbook you can design and add pictures or memento stuff and had a small description. Am I right? somehow I got confused.

From my understanding journal is more like a diary and scrapbook is where you keep collections of photos. Scrapbook also tends to be more fancy, design-wise, I think.

@MariaIsHere When I was in school, we did journaling in English class and scrapbooking in Arts class.

@cahaya1983 That must be so great, we never had those. I do wish to try scrapbooking but I feel like I barely have talent for it, but once I have time I'll pursue it.

I used the free version of Evernote for keeping my notes or anything that I would like to remember. And I liked it, it's easy to use and organised my notebook per topic. I normally used Evernote for my vision board because I can add pictures as well.

@MariaIsHere Yes, check it out and it's very useful. I think they have an app. But I just used the desktop version because I'm not a smartphone lover except necessary when I'm out and about. I used laptop regularly.

I have kept a journal for almost forty years and they're just words written by me. I think a scrap book has lots of items, not just writing. But I guess you could combine both.

Yes you are. In journalling you can write however long you want but in scrapbook, you need to write in a limited space
