Wow! I'm very impressed girl that you can play guitar. What a talented girl you are! When I'm in stress, I will talk to my cat and tell them that I'm in trouble, and they can share some of it.

@reti_9 Yes, animals can understand very well when we are in trouble. When I talked to my cat I pet them and told them how I feel...and they will respond to me with a meow.... meow...with an eye contact.

@asianlady true. Animals can sense what your feeling. They will comfort you if your sad just like my dogs here.

It sounds like we are a bit alike: When I am stressed, I play my piano. Of course I like to play piano when I'm not stressed as well.
I also like ice cream but I only have it occasionally.
And yes, I sometimes play my piano until my wrists are sore.

@reti_9 O.K. so I'm not the only one who experiences overplaying pain.
Sometimes, when I'm really feeling it, I use an herbal pain cream. It really helps quite a bit.

Deep breathing helps me, and trying to distract myself from the problem until I can logically deal with it.
You shouldn't allow a destresser cause you physical harm.

@reti_9 All kinds of. I read Anne of Green Gables and its whole series, then Margaret Atwood's Cat's eye, the Robber bride, alias grace, bodily harm, blind assassins. Then ofcourse the tale of two cities and great expectations. Gulliver's travels, jane eyre, interpreter of maladies, talented mr. Ripley. There are more but the message will get too long if not already. Currently, I'm reading Frankenstein and another journal book.
