Ok, my brother has this on coming from years of buying my daughter annoying toys for Christmas. I just got back from Target, and I tell ya, I was in toy heaven. I bought my nephew a Crocodile Xylophone, Drum, and Tamborine. I am going to really love this Christmas. They were the noisiest toys that I could find for his age group... gotta do the laugh again.... hahahahahahaha
Anyone else like to torcher siblings through gifts to the nieces and nephews?

My mother always said that was what her mother in law liked to do, but I am not sure. I do confess however to sabotaging a sister in law who was obsessive about her house and always was telling how much her furniture, carpet, etc cost. I would find the little buckets of 500 soldiers, or 250 farm animats. I gave playdoh--homemade, with glitter in it. She was just so annoying. Would not let her kids play on a playground for fear they might get dirty.

haha That's pretty funny. I never really bought my nephew the annoying toys because I used to live with him! Of course, he still had them. And I can do it now since I'm no longer living with my sister and will (hopefully) be moving away soon. Whahaha! But I probably won't. Buy any of my nieces and nephews the annoying toys, that is. Sorry. I'm probably making no sense. I'm having a terrible day today. :(

Ahhh, revenge is sweet, isn't it? For me its my son, when he was little my mother bought him anything he wanted even if I said no. And she seemed to try to talk him into the noisiest toys. And he would give me that look as if to say "ha ha" . So, now my son has two sons of his own, so its my turn.lol

I love giving the annoying toys this year.. I went hay wire on all the kids and gave really noisy toys this year.. I am labeling this as my "Payback for all the annoying toys you gave my daughter year"... LOL
Each year I have some type of them, games, movies, wierd toys.. LOL I don't plan on it, it just happens that way.

I did this to my step-daughter one year. She had always bought annoying toys for my children. So when she had a child of her own, I bought a drum set for her 2-year-old. I thought it was cute PLUS it had to be the loudest toy on the planet. She harrasses me about it to this day!

I will be doing the same thing this year. My brother finally has a baby and I can't wait to get my revenge. He always gives noisy presents to the kids. One year he gave my daughter and nephew these little piano toys. They drove me nuts. I havn't quite decided what I am buying my niece yet since we won't see them until after christmasg, but it will be noisy thats for sure.

Oh no, this is what I'm afraid my brother will do next year. I have been buying my niece and nephew very obnoxious gifts for Christmas each year for the past few years. Now I'm 19 weeks pregnant, so I expect that my brother will repay me over the next few years.

That is really funny. I know what you mean about the annoying toys. My brothers bought my daughter a real drum set one year. It drove me insaine. Now it is usually just the grandparents that seek out the annoying gifts as payback.
