For the first time since the Pandemic last year, we have started our 7 day lockdown. This is the 3rd day, but there's news what it will be extended for another 2 weeks.
What does this mean to me. It means that I don't go to work, I only go out for essential errands like buying my medicines, groceries, my children who lives in the other state, also in lockdown, can't come to visit me, wear a face mask, outdoor exercise within 5 km radius from residence, and a curfew and scan the QR code in all places that I visit.
How's the Covid19 situation at your place?

@LadyDuck, Cagayan de Oro ranks number 3 highest in covid rate in whole Philippines. We do not know what to do? We cannot go to malls for all of us at home not yet fully vaccinated, we all lack 1 dose except the kids no schedule yet..

@May2k8, I see in Worldometers from 21 thousand plus covid infected in your country this day, it lowers to 17,000 plus, positive action .Maybe President Widodo is doing his best to control the surging of the delta variant. It's delta ta surges infection. This day , other mutants appear to many nations the Lambda, Kappha and Beta variants. It said that Kappha variant is as contagious as Delta that even a passerby it could infect. . Ph now logged more than 14,000 due to the presence of Delta, Kappha, Lambda , Beta and Theta variants, the worst in the history. I do not anymore open my FB , it's full of condolences due to covid

In India the covid situation is still grim. With the delta variant setting in children are getting infected by the virus more than the adults. I still prefer staying at home and doing my yoga exercises at home.

We do have lockdown here too and currently everyone here are waiting on how much longer this lockdown quarantine be over.
Let's hope that everything would go back to normal and covid stop having many variants.

The daily cases are still high here, but we're seeing a reduction in ICU and hospital admissions so I guess it's getting better. The govt has lifted several restrictions too. Companies that have 100% employees who have completed their vaccination are allowed to operate from the office.

We tried the lockdown here in the US, and it didn't work well at all. Mostly because people just ignored it and went about their day as if no virus existed at all. Now that the Delta variant is here, it's wrecking havoc worse than anything we've seen so far, and nobody really cares. People are tired of this pandemic and just want to get on with their lives.

Australia had good control of covid so far. But recent news reports rise in cases there.
Our cases have declined but experts feel that the third wave here might come soon. People are not being careful and that is worrisome.
