of living in the city or in an urban area? I grown up in Stockholm, capital of Sweden. You found a few shops in every neighborhood, the air was quite fresh, and most people was friendly. It seems likes these things has moved to the urban area. In town you now find lots of stressy people and lots of restaurants. Depending of what street you are living on, you can have a long way to go if you shall have food. No, I do not longer live in town, I need a peaceful life

I like living in a small town myself compared to living in a large city.

And that's a perfect and healthy choice.

I was born in Milan, the most industrial city in Italy. It was not bad when I was a little girl, but a horrible place where to live now. I am in the countryside now, peaceful, clean air, no stress.

The hubby and I have lived both in the city and the country. Country wins hands down. We love the peace and quiet.

I live in a kind of suburban place, not too far from a city, so really I get the best of both worlds. But I want to go and live in Cardiff. There, you could be living in or near a city, but have wonderful countryside and beaches right on your doorstep!

For me urben is the way to go. We like being within walking distance of stores and the things we need.
