Last night, as I was working on my art project, I watched on Youtube all these chaos going on in Afghanistan.. I can't imagine how difficult, unbearable being caught up in that..
All that fightings and loss of lives for more than ten years, and this is where it ends.. Being born really is like a lottery isn't it?.. We are lucky that we are not born in that part of the world.. But at the same time, just like in lottery, only a few win..
We are all affected by what is happening over there..Because we are all in this life together..Praying and hoping for the end of human suffering..

Taliban going to have their hands on all those weapons. Add the fact that people who helped the previous government are going to be hunted down and killed.

@epiffanie can't believe it was that easy for the Taliban to take over Afghanistan.

@epiffanie true.
There was a trade off here. We just haven't discovered it yet.

Yes, let's pray together. Our collective prayers are more powerful, and it can change somehow the situation. I wish to have world peace where humankind wake up and not fighting each other because we are all connected.

Peace is always been my wish too.. But I realised that it's impossible to wish that for the rest of the world.. I even stopped praying for world peace a long time ago..I focused on working hard to keep my inner peace. But when I see and hear news of human suffering specially the innocent children, I pray all the prayers I saved .. If each and everyone on this planet are at peace with themselves, that's the only time we'll experience peace on earth..But we know it's not possible..

@asianlady Yes indeed.. That is why it is not good to push our own new found mindset or beliefs no matter how beneficial to them and their well being, because it will only disturb our peace of mind.. But when they come to us and open up, then it is our sacred duty to share.. I learned that the hard way..But it's all worth it..

@epiffanie I agree with you, it's very impossible if only few people like us awaken to our inner peace. Anyway, in the other point of view, we are not here to change the world but to create our own experience while allowing others to experience what they wish too.

This new government (Taliban) seems a bit pro women.

I heard on the news that the Philippines is willing to welcome refugees from Afghanistan.. It would be very very difficult specially that it's pandemic.. But I hope that they can make the refugees feel safe..

@epiffanie oh. I did not know that. I hope not at this moment. We already have many problems as it is brought by the pandemic. This will surely create more. If only there is no pandemic, then that will be fine.

Yes we need to pray for them. Peace is such a precious thing but some have never ever enjoyed it
