No, this isn't a review of the movie with the same title.
One of the other reason why I want to switch jobs and move on from this current one that I have. I know, there is a potential one in every work place and it might end up to be worse than those that I'm dealing with but I'm ready to roll the dice here.
The only three upsides I see are this job gives me a paycheck 15th and 30th of the month, it is work from home, and the schedule is AM shift. There isn't a transferable skill that I can use in another industry and the industry/company itself is shady AF.
No matter how much perfume you spray on $h!t, it will still stink.
Anyway, care to share your experience with horrible bosses?

Same.
I only joined because it was needed for work. Otherwise, I would prefer not to join.

@allen0187 I was transferred from my original department to that one. I actually do not want too but everybody said it was a promotion somehow, but it turned out to be a degradation to the staff.

True.
That is why I just put a fake smile and agree with everything they say. I know first hand though that they speak ill behind everyone's back. No exceptions.

@Buttterfingers, I think you are right. This is pandemic time and we need a job. All we have to do is to be patient and just do our work with confidence. Also, we have to be friendly with our boss. I am so friendly with my boss, so she keeps of adding my load

@prinzcy true.
I recently got transferred to a non-sales post. It is technical support and there is a lot to learn without a formal training period.

@allen0187 I'm getting the hang of it, but there are still a lot to learn. Learning new things are not as easy as when I was younger.

I was self-employed, so I don't have any issues with horrible bosses.. But I did have a few clients that made my blood boil..

@epiffanie true.
I work in the service industry so I do my best to be a good customer as well. I know how hard it is already working in our line of work.
Some difficult clients honestly don't have a clue.

@allen0187 Exactly!..Dealing with horrible clients especially after they made your blood boil, at the same time you try to hold back your anger, because they can ruin the reputation of your business after the years of hard work building it.. is very difficult ... Especially here in Australia where no matter what, as an immigrant, you'll experience discrimination..

@cacay1 no, I'm not being retrenched. I'll be resigning so I only get the days that I worked for plus leaves that I did not use.
When I got retrenched in my two previous jobs, I got a separation pay.

I had one boss I worked for and he was just horrible. I was the English Secretary and he would put me down in front of others and he was not that nice to the Hebrew Secretary either. Although she would talk on the phone a lot and I would work hard. I just could not take it any longer so quit. I cannot remember if had another job but to be treated so poorly I did not have to be take it.

Thanks and I am glad I quit too because he was so horrible and he probably had a ego complex and that he did nothing wrong.
