In 2012 , I was asked to be one of the sponsors to a friend's wedding. When I met her online back in 2004, I didn't know that she was an actress in the Philippines.. But we became good friends and we met for the first time in person when I went back home 2007..Ever since then, we became really good friends and would see each when I go back home.. And I was honoured to one of her Ninangs..
When she sent me the invite, she had 12 pairs of Sponsors..I recognised a few names from the showbiz , but I don't know the person he paired with me..
Before walking down , I extended my right hand and said, " Hello, my name is (I said my name) .What's your name Sir? "...
He looked at me funny, and after a few moments, he shook my hand very loosely as if he din't want to shake hands with me..
And said, " Bingbong Crisologo" ..
I smiled and said, "Nice to meet you sir".. But he didn't say "nice to meet you too".. I thought, what a snob gentleman..ahahahah!!
I sat there opposite him and all the while wondering why he looked at me funny..I thought he didn't like me as his partner that day..But I found out afterwards that he is a well known personality...A book was written about him, and a movie was made about his life ... So then I realised why he reacted that way towards me.. He must have wondered what remote province in the Philippines I came from..that i didn't know him... lol ..
My friend Melissa Mendes..She became a showbiz personality after I left the Philippines..There were few more awkward moments I experienced at her wedding,.. that was quite an experience..

Most of the guests at that wedding were showbiz and political personalities .. And to me, they are just the same as the rest of us.. Actually, most of us ordinary people are better people than them.. Well, to them, I don't really care what they think of us.. ahahaha!

Maybe because he's older now that's why the face is not familiar to you.. I heard that he spent time in prison way back then..and he is now a politician..
