I might do some yoga tonight. I am having a really bad time sleeping as of late. Only one night have I gotten a decent night's sleep and it really bothers me. I am just starting to wake up a bit. I really can't blame it that much on the cat, I had already been awake about a half an hour before he came in to tell me it was time to get up at like 5:30, after I had only had maybe 4 hours tops. Who here sleeps well, and what are your sleeping tips? I have tried different things and nothing seems to really help that much even the breathing techiques that are supposed to put you asleep within minutes. I can usually fall asleep but staying asleep is another thing.

I can sleep fairly well. At times when it's more difficult, I will listen to music designed to make me sleepy or I'll take a benadryl.

You are young, the older you get the harder it is to stay asleep. Although I have had sleep difficulties most of my adult life, they are worse now.

@snowy22315 Oh, I am sure I'll have sleep walking problems too. I had them when I was young, and several family members had problems too.

If you wake tired you aren't getting enough sleep. About six months ago I seemed to be sleeping better.

I need to get some of that. Maybe I will order some. Did you get the gummies or what? Did you order it from Amazon or just buy it in the "hood?"

@RebeccasFarm I saw some on Amazon like that. I am going to give it a try I guess. I ordered the gummies for my parents awhile back. They like them pretty well.

@snowy22315 I bought it in the hood. It is a local shop called Options. They have all kinds of stuff. This is a tincture. A dropper you know. You put a bit under your tongue and it works. Cheap too.

When I'd go on lunch at Walmart, I'd set an alarm to wake me up five minutes before I had to clock back in from lunch, put my head down on my arms and I was asleep. People there were always amazed at how fast I'd fall asleep. I'd just picture a black "screen" in my mind and hold that image. I fell right asleep. As long as nobody said my name where I could hear them, I'd stay asleep until my alarm went off.
Staying asleep at home is a bit more difficult. Pretty thinks it's funny to wake me up... sometimes for no reason at all.

a black screen sounds good. It has been my experience that men always fall asleep easier than women, everyone I have ever known has had the ability to drop off like that!

@snowy22315 Pretty says I've trained myself to fall asleep if I'm bored. I don't know if she's right or not.

It can help. I used to do it. There is a bedtime yoga ritual you can do. I may do that tonight.

You're right about staying asleep. I don't really have any good ideas. Sometimes nothing seems to work.
