I decided that it wouldn't hurt to make a list of some of the ways to have fun that you told me about. That made me think of other ways to add to it. Just in case I'm not the only one fighting depression, I highly recommend making a list of your own. I wrote down everything that you guys suggested and came up with a few of my own...
1. Make a list of all the books you have ever read. You can then use your list of authors to see if they have written anything new.
2. Sit quietly on your porch and watch what wildlife might pass by. Earlier today I saw a little frog that looked like a little green stone sitting on the porch railing. Didn't move a muscle. He really did look just like a little stone!
3. Play solitaire. A great pass time when your computer is away being fixed... Yup, that was me a year ago!
4. Bake cookies. It's a lot healthier and cheaper than buying them by the bag.
5. Not a fun idea, but once you have cleaned out the area under your sink and it's all organized and beautiful, you have one of those cookies that you just baked!!
I came up with these in a matter of minutes. If I put my mind to it, I wonder how many ways to keep myself happy I could come up with! It was a lot easier than I thought it would be! A ton of thanks and even more hugs going out to everyone who gave me ideas yesterday!

I love 1, 3 and 4 except that in my case I play other games on my phone instead of solitaire.

That's a great list. If you like card games, there are several great game collections for your computer. I love to play cards with the computer.

That's wonderful that you found things to do to help yourself stave off bordom.

Good for you. That's a great list. I have a book of solitaire games and learnt some interesting new games from that.

The first idea is something I do regularly. And yes. It is really a great way to keep yourself happy and excited. You know Margaret Atwood, the Canadian author. I read her book called The Robber Bride, fell in love with her style. And ended up reading 5 more books by the same author.

I often look at the trees and nature back here.
I hope your depression lifts
Usually I always think how lucky I am to have a bed to sleep in and that helps me some
