In 1962 Ringo Starr made his debut with The Beatles at the horticultural society Dance in Birkenhead, England. It was the first time the four Beatles as the world would get to know them were together - Paul, John, George, and Ringo.
In 1973 Diana Ross was at number one on the US singles chart with "Touch Me In The Morning"
In 1979 Chic were at number one on the US singles chart with "Good Times" It was the group"s second US number one.
In 1984 George Michael was at number one on the UK singles chart with his first solo single "Careless Whisper" This made him the first person to reach number one as a solo artist and a member of a band in the same year.
In 1986 Bon Jovi came out with their third studio album Slippery When Wet and it rose up to number one on the US album chart. The album features two US chart-toppers 'You Give Love A Bad Name' and 'Livin’ On A Prayer
In 2014 Ed Sheeran was at number one on the UK album chart with X and stayed at the top for 8 weeks.
This deeply emotional song, "Touch Me in the Morning," written by Michael Masser and Ron Miller and recorded by Diana Ross on the Motown label was released ...

That must have been interesting I guess they played everwhere to gain popularity because at that time who knew how big they were going to become @JudyEv
