Second eye operation was good

I am finally getting to the end of my whole eye issues, at least I think so. My husband has been putting a few different eye drops a few times a day. Each eye drop is for something different. It is a good thing he is doing it as I would never know which one to put in. He has a whole chart so he can check off the list everyday. I think we finished one bottle today but have the other one to keep using for another month. I really don't like them but I have to do what is best for my eyes. It will be good to get done with all these.

That is a pretty long session for eye drops. Hope all that will be history and your eyes will be back to normal.

@ramapo17 Was it a cataract surgery? I may have to go for one but I am told to wait

@allknowing Yes it was cataract surgery and that was no problem at all. I didn't know anything that was going on and I had no problems after. It is a very long process. I had both eyes done but had to wait a few weeks for the second one. I am totally shocked how I was living in a different world for so many years. Now, I see all the things in my house that are different colors than I was seeing. I never knew my things are the colors they are. I saw something different. One of my best surprises is my cockatiel is soooo pretty.

I hope this is a one time thing in life. The operation was great as I was asleep for it but these drops drive me crazy.

At least you have someone to help you, and hopefully you still have your vision.

@ramapo17 So far we got next to nothing from Elsa, and Fred just sent a couple bands our way. Nothing serious. Didn't even notice Fred.

@kaylachan It is so nice not to worry about another hurricane and having to leave my house. We always went up to New Jersey during any storms as that is where we are from. I enjoyed it as I saw my kids and friends. I actually looked forward to them. I didn't like the long drive though and all the traffic.

I am so grateful for his help. Are you supposed to get any of the hurricanes by you? I am in the south and close to the water but I haven't seen anything coming our way but with hurricanes we never know unto we get them.

Thank you @CarolDM. It will be nice to have this all over for both my husband and myself. He does have patience though. He has sheets all over the table with the times for each one. Some are two times a day and others are 3 times a day. I am glad he is keeping a record of it.

@CarolDM I could have never done this on my own. The operations were easy, it was the daily eye drops that have to be put in everyday a few times. Especially with 2 eyes.

Thanks @jstory, me too. These drops are a pain as they have to be put in a few times a day and one really burns.

I am glad it is over. I remember that I needed eye drops when I had laser surgery for my glaucoma.

Hope once you get to the end of the eye drops you will be free of your eye issues. I need to make an appointment with the eye doctor and I wouldn't be surprised if cataract surgery is down the road for me.

I was totally surprised how I did not have any reactions to it.
