Rain after a long time

Its been hot for a long time here, and we have been suffering water shortage too, just as they were repairing the water supply system.
But last night around 2:00, it rained. I couldn't recognise; but heard the water tank was pouring water as it was full. I heard to go and tie it.
I usually prefer rain water to tap water.
Now the tank is full, we shall be using the rain, as we wait for the tap water supply system to fix the problem of tap water.
Mind you, do you prefer rain water to tap water?

I'm glad you had enough rain to fill the tank. We have only tap water.

Is rain water healthy?
My biology teacher in 7th grade told me that we can't use rain water because it's mixed with CO2. What kind of system do we need to use rain water?

Its mixed with co2 to form a weak acid , carbonic acid. We treat it by adding a weak base, or making it a buffer solution; which is safe for the human body.
But the tap water is 70%pure even though treated well, hope you get my point

@Belexhanns I don`t think so because it has some acid in the rain.

Good the rain came to fill your tank of the badly needed water. Life is made doubly difficult without water.
