Have been talking to several friends since yesterday's floods in Tennessee. They are all accounted for and doing fine.
One friend's family dog has been missing. Molly has been their baby for ten years now. She was hoping Molly would be home this morning. Nothing yet when we talked earlier.
She just called happily and said Molly finally made it home. Someone called the number on her collar and brought her home, thank goodness.
She was all wet and dirty but she was home safely. I was so happy for her and her family. I know how animals are like our family members.
Molly is lucky. Some of the flooding got up to 12-14 feet in areas in their neighborhood. So relieved to hear this happy news.

Sadly there were many killed, still many missing. Actually a report just came out, 17 inches of rain in just 24 hours.
The family of two twins washed away in Saturday's flooding have confirmed their tragic deaths. This happened an hour or so from where I live in Tennessee. This...

@CarolDM — I saw that the ranch manager at Loretta Lynn’s place was swept away in the flood. So tragic.

@FourWalls Yes, there are so many horrible stories. Her ranch at Hurricane Mills was like a river.

They showed a clip on the news of the flooding in your state, and of course you have written about it so I was aware of it, but pictures say a thousand words, it was terrible to see. I am happy for the good news that Molly is back safe and sound with her family, that's a heart-warming story during such difficult times in your area.

Its always great when a pet is found. The not knowing is the worst while they are missing.
