Good morning/ afternoon/ evening mylot community. How was your day? Today is Tuesday in Hong Kong, and as usual, is my busy hour. Start from 6 am to 10 pm I'm working, and it's quite tiring and exhausting doing this job every day. I try to enjoy every single minute but sometimes I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. If I could wish, I would like to go back to Indonesia and stay with my daughter and living in normal life. But I only can make it come true when my contract is finish. When? Two more years. It's quite boring to always wait when that moment comes. I hope God will open another door for me to make my dream come true. Life is interesting! Keep enjoying it while we are still here. 6 am-10 pm is a long working hour. Do you get an incentive or paid some extra money to work more than 8 hours. My working time is flexible. When there is an extra load it is for 10 hours otherwise it is 9 hours.

@sjvg1976 I don't get an incentive or some extra money because the salary is per month. You're lucky, I wish I could be like you have a flexible time

@sjvg1976 yes, it was mentioned. But it's okay, I only need to finish my 3rd contract, and will be finished in 2023. And after that, I will go back to Indonesia for good.

I don't really have strict working hours because I am not working anymore for a company or a corporation like you do.

6am-10pm is quite long. What is your job if you don't mind my asking? My current working hours is 8am-5pm from Monday-Friday.

@Milottt thank you for sharing and asking. I work as a caregiver for Chinese people. I assist them to do all the household work, cooking, cleaning, etc. So always standby for them. It's tiring anyway

I have worked 16 hour days, but never consistently. That sounds ridiculous. I hope the pay is very good.

I loved Hong Kong! Beautiful city. I’m retired, but when I was a teacher, I worked round the clock.

I work 24 hours a day, but this is flexible because it is interspersed with rest periods, even when I lie in bed my brain is still working freely. As someone who doesn't have a steady job yet, I still make mylot my main source of income even though it only makes a few dollars a month and doesn't make a living. I hope to be in mylot and have a longer discussion with all my friends here, only here we can share positive information with each other because I have so many toxic people who are always looking for profit Thank you for listening to my story

@youfiq it doesn't matter, same with me. I join here because I don't have a close friend and only one who stays in the USA but we seldom talking because of the different time zone, sometimes we talk just twice a week through iMessage. I hope by joining this site I will have more friends and I can share my thoughts.
