Do people have the right to kill healthy dogs?

In my opinion, people don't have the right to kill animals. In my country, some shelters kill animals after 10 days. Why should someone decide who lives and who dies? Dogs should be spayed, not killed. In my country, they don't kill cats. We don't have a shelter for cats. Animals are killed only because they were born.

I don't think any healthy animal should be put down. I am a fan of no kill shelters.

I think the same. People buy dogs and those dogs are killed.

They don't kill animals here. The shelters don't accept every animal, but the ones they accept remain in the shelters if they don't get new owners. If the shelter doesn't think that they will be able to find new owners they refuse to receive the animals, but I think that is better than accepting too many animals and killing them.

All our shelters DO NOT kill animals, they put to sleep those who are too sick to recover. We have shelters also for cats and other small animals.

This is good. I hope this will happen in all countries. Maybe we will have shelters for cats, but not soon.

I don’t believe in killing innocent animals unless they are suffering from a bad illness. My son’s friend has to have her cat put down today. It’s suffering from incurable liver disease and is in severe pain.

that's so sad. i don't think that's a right thing to do. but it could be difficult to take care of all stray dogs and cats. anyways, i'm sure neutering is a better option thank killing them.

Yes. I think they can live on the streets if they are too many of them. It's better to live on the street than to be killed. And all of them should be adopted and spayed.
