I don't plan on children.
I don't like children. I don't have the patience for children. I have health problems that would make it almost impossible for me to carry a child to term and give birth, not to mention my health would make it impossible for me to properly care for a child. I don't have much money but I have a lot of expensive hobbies that I'd rather devote my money to. I enjoy being able to go out when I want without worrying about having to find a sitter or make arrangements for a child.
There are more reasons, but I think those should be more than enough to answer the original question. :D

No this is the sort of detail I was after. It is a good well thought out answer. I agree that it is difficult to go out and all that with a child to think of. I know about expensive hobbies as well I have my share for sure. I was just curious as to other people's ideas out there and you gave me a good start. :) Thanks!

You're more than welcome! I get asked a lot why I don't want kids, so I've gotten used to laying out the argument in its entirety. :D

I HAVE decided against children, actually. I have a ton of reasons for not wanting any. I don't have the patience, they're expensive, I like the idea of going out whenever I want and not having to worry about who will be watching them, etc. Should I go on or is that enough?

Your reply about getting a kitten? Oh, I'm all for that. My cats will be my children! And we will speak in the tongue of Mews.

I think I choose "do not want to have a baby".I've known clearly the world is cruel and the society is cold.I've known exactly if we want to survive in this world how hard stress we must be under. And I also know this world is controlled by money, and no matter what we do and where we go,we always need money. If you can't control it,it will control you.
So I don't want my baby taste the pain that I've tasted.

I understand what you mean. Maybe the world isn't too nice right now for children.

I don't want to have children for several multiple many faceted reasons. For one there are many mental health issues on my fiance's side of the family. Number 2, the thought of having something living inside of me for nine months is creepy. #3 I'm terrified of the actual giving birth part. #4 I don't know if I have the patience to be a good mother. #5 If I want children - there are enough kids out there who don't have families - why should I bring a new one into the world when I could give shelter to one of these other kids?

I haven't really determined whether or not I want to have children, but I'm leaning more towards no. Not because I don't want them, but because I don't think I should have them.
The reason for that is that even with my dog, I get annoyed if I have to spend too much time with him as I'm very impatient and I'm afraid I'll get annoyed too easily.
Another reason I'm leaning towards not having children is because my fiance isn't too interested in having any- he doesn't want them because he's afraid he'll end up being like his dad and he doesn't want to raise a child the way his parents raised him.

Well at least you have given your options a lot of thought and that is obviously a good thing. I know what you mean by being impatient, I have this problem as well. I don't think I would be able to deal with having to take care of a person.

I'm definitely not having children. In my opinion you really limit yourself when you have children. You aren't able to pursue your interests anymore because your life revolves around them. I also fear the age old adage that I will become my mother. I will not subject any child to that.
