These are the first candiea we tried before Ferrero rocher or snickers.
They worked as a play thing too. The little wheels with thread wrapped around should be used as a puller on both sides so the wheel rotates. And those little ice cream cones have cream in it and does melt at room temperature and many such memories.
What we're your first candies as kids in your country?

When I was a kid, there's this nut wrapped in a thick sugar. Each pack has 4 of it in a different color. And what we loved the most about it is every pack there's a finger ring attached on the outside that we will happily wear and show off to our friends. Those were the days.

It was in different colours and quite small and round shapes.
I missed that grandpa in my school who was allowed to sell in the school compound back then. He no more no.

One of my favorites was reams of paper with candy dots on them and you bit them off the paper to eat them. I am sure we ended up eating some of the paper as well, but we didn't care. Also, these little wax bottles filled with sweet liquid and you bit the top off of them and drank the liquid. You could chew the wax if you wanted but it didn't have any taste. And taffy...my grandmother used to buy me long sticks of taffy. I can't eat taffy now though because it will pull out my dental work! Thanks for taking me down Memory Lane!
