Pineapple in the making

This pineapple will see the end of day if the mongoose does not get to it first. It is still young and hopefully in a month or so it will be ready.
While we do not mind the mongoose - quite a few - roaming around, there are a few things they get at. They dig out tubers too
But such is life. .

Wow! I saw a pineapple plant for the first time.. never thought it could be of grown in house garden too
