How do goli Diet-Pills Work?

You might've seen the commercial ("Health, Simple" ... there's also one where Jennifer Lopez (J.Lo.) implies that she retains her healthy bod with goli)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfISMi-62NI
But how does it work?
It's made with Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), but I'm thinking that most of the effects of the (less-expensive) ACV are taken out by all the candy-ingredients that make it into a gummy (which--I hear from a TED Talk, so it [u]must be true--are mainly just 'vitamin-flavored candy')---much the same way that potatoes--tho they ARE 'plant-material'--don't count as "vegetables" on account of all the starch.
The main health benefit is probably one I call "Vitamin P" (for Placebo)---one I use when I take a Gummy Multivitamin everyday (even tho I'm pretty sure I get all the vitamins I need in the foods I eat).
What do you think?

I tend to agree with you that pills like these (and this special pill is not as new and innovative as they want you to think) will not help you, unless you fully believe in it as a placebo.
Apple cider vinegar itself might help (as far as I know scientists are not all of the same opinion about it) but you would save a lot of money by just adding a few spoonfuls to your drinking water every day.

Are you sure the drinking-water wouldn't 'cancel out' the ACV's vitality?

uhhh i don't really trust these pills, but i do trust "old" methods like drinking vinegar before bed to make the fat "burn"... i make no sense
i only took pills with additional vitamins and stuff for hair and nails, but i forget to take them and yeah... i don't know if they work.

think just taking regular and much cheaper ACV is the way to go.

I suppose for the young ones with taste-buds still super sensitive, it's "a spoonful of sugar"
