It was a sleepless night / myLot

Last night, the renovation workers decided to remove the plywood wall so they could start building the brick wall. They need to build the wall, roof and finally the windows. So as you can see in the image, it's pretty open with absolutely clear air flow

Unfortunately, as soon as they're done with removing process, it started raining. So they could not build the wall. And it's already late. We have no wall, roof nor windows. I was pretty angry when I found out. Their boss offered to let one the man stayed so he could guard the house. That's even crazier so I told them no. Last night I stay up until around 4 in the morning. I even cook breakfast before going to bed. Mom woke up around 3 am and watched tv. Lil Bro woke up around 4 am as well. Luckily I don't need to go to the office today and just continue working from home. But I'm still going to need lots of coffee

Ooops. That's leave the whole family vulnerable to dangerous elements. I would be angry as well if that happens to my family. I once quarreled with a carpenter who wouldn't finish the door he promised done for a day. He wanted another wage for the following day. I forced him to finish up and he did.

They just left it like that? They didn't even cover it with plastic? I would have flipped out and fired them lol. I don't know how hard it is to find people to do things like that, but a more competent crew would be worth considering. So sorry for you guys.

Yes, just like that. He said it's okay, no one would know and all that. Really irresponsible. Unfortunately it would take time to find someone else right now. And I want a wall asap.

I would have shifted to some other place till the completion of the house if I were in your place. It's not possible to stay in a house with a wall and a roof.

They're pretty confident about it. Hence why they remove the wall. Luckily it's a two part house or we'll be completely be in the open.

You could step through the door if you want. I just cut bowls of watermelon and cooked chicken this morning. There's still plenty left if you're hungry. We can get Pretty to step through to your side and watch the house while you and mom sleep in my bedroom. Lil Bro could sleep on the sofa and I'll sleep in the living room floor. Just tell your boss you were gone on a business trip.

Guard against burglar. But I'm on afraid of letting a stranger guard my house. No it won't be flooded but the rain might splash a bit inside as there's no wall on that part.
