The Rabbi complained about his location in Heaven

Rabbi Anton Brushnec, had died, and he had gone into that part of Heaven, assigned to the Jewish religion. He met God there, and he asked him about why the Jews are alone in their own segmented part of Heaven, here. God told him, that in Heaven, we aim to please, and Jews, to be pleased, must be on their own, as mostly they think they are loners in their thinking, and this then limits them to contact with their own group, not to the whole, where we must not be attached to our group, but be open to all groups here too. The Rabbi remonstrated with God, and he said, "Well, our Jewish souls house Jewish beliefs, and thoughts,  but other souls, house the thoughts of themselves, and so are less true in their thoughts." God answered him, "A Jew, like all other souls, are, are a part of God, which he created to house his thoughts in, but then, which could process these thoughts for themselves, thinking then that these thoughts of God's were then their own thoughts. "Your beliefs are only the thoughts of myself, that you take on board, and try to own for yourself, as your own thoughts." "You are here to see that no thoughts must be kept exclusive to yourself, as when you keep thoughts for yourself, you stop being connected to the flow of thoughts, going into you from me then, as the vessel must not be full, of past thoughts, but always ready to receive my new thoughts, at all times." "An empty vessel remains full, thereby, but a full vessel, in effect, remains empty." "Ah, ha," said the Rabbi, "The joke is on us Jews, then." "No", answered, God, "there is another part of Heaven, for the Jokers too." "They must learn to see that every joke, is God's joke, too." "Humour is mine," sayeth God. The good Rabbi then woke up in his bed. He was not dead at all. He decided to now not own his beliefs, thoughts, jokes, life, anymore though, but to allow all parts of himself to remain within God, and not segregated out into himself. "One, one with God is one with God, not one with themselves alone," was now his thought, until he quickly threw that thought back to God again too. or the punch line of the joke, heaven is a dream from which we never awaken.

Yes, I am inclined to agree with that at times. We might have it all back to front here, and so here is the dream, and we have remained in Heaven, all of the time, after all. Yes, the joke would be on us then, for sure. God could pull that stunt off, as he has a wry humour, I expect.

Yes, that applies to all schools of belief too I think. Compartmentalization is our creation; for our creator, there are no borders. The more one tends to cling to one's own belief to the exclusion of others, they could be isolated in the afterlife while those with open minds enjoy the variety that should be the spice of life anywhere and in heaven too.

Yes, if we stay apart here, in our beliefs, it could be the same there, until we getter a more open mind, and heart, and take a leaf off of God's tree, to embrace/cover/protect all with his shade. God is not a shady character, and his sunny side burns brightly too, but he does provide us with oases's within him, where we can study, feel, know him, without our getting too burnt.

@innertalks Yes, there are many paths to find comfort in God's domain. I think we will land up where we are comfortable and then can move to wherever we want to after imbibing knowledge and inputs. And the journey continues!

@Shiva49 Yes, the journey probably will continue in some way, or another. Sometimes, I think that I would just like to point a real final full stop on my "I", though, as continuing in possible darkness again somewhere, would be anathema to me. I need real answers now. If Heaven, is real, and I make it in there, I might see some extra light, then, I suppose.

Since God wants to please us when we die he will try to fulfill our righteous desires as much as possible. In heaven, there have to be a place of fellowship for persons of the same group holding the same beliefs as God is a God of order and not of confusion and only if persons of a particular religion have communed together then they can be perfect in worship in heaven as God will accept the truth that each religious group takes to heaven with them for using for his glory.

Yes, we are all created differently, with different talents, and gifts, and so if we develop these in our lives, we can bring the resulting understandings of truth, obtained from our lives, into Heaven too.
