@aninditasen I like that philosophy! Many Christians seem to emphasize faith over deeds. But there ARE passages in the new testament that talk about the importance of deeds.

Here in our city ,Baguio City we have this Flower Festival every summer (February or March ).
We celebrate it with street dancing and parade of Flower float.

@jaiho2009 That's lovely. Where do you get the flowers from? In India on the day of Janmastami youngsters climb on each other's shoulders to reach a mud pot of curd(called dahi handi in India) and break it.

Yes lot of devotees do that but I have been asked by my doctor to take an earlier dinner and therefore do not wait for so long.
