It's odd to know that August is almost over. It kind of went by in a blur but it's a good blur. So much has happened...well maybe not as much as I feel like it has. I've only been in rookie school for one week, this week is my second but it doesn't seem like it. The weekend was pretty good. Saturday was a lot of running around. I got two new fish for my fish tank. So far they seem to be adjusting well. If they do then I'll add another one or two. We also went to dinner as a family. My parents, us and my grandmother. It was nice, we went to my favorite place, The Texas Roadhouse. Sunday we over worked just a bit. We spent most of the day doing yard work and we are both paying for it today. My husband and I are both dragging and I'm sunburnt pretty good. The sunburn sucks because I have rookie school so I'll be putting gear on with sunburn. It's going to hurt...no way around it. I have reviews to do today for Carrie Ann Ryan. I hate that I haven't done them yet but I will do them before tonight. I also finally have all of my stories up on my laptop and I'm hoping to get to them today as well. I haven't written in a while because I've been Fire focused and work focused. I'll get to everything though. Next month I find out about the writing contest I entered. I doubt I got into the semi finals but my husband seems pretty sure I did though. I'm still working on loosing weight. The weekends seem to be the hardest because I can't seem to squeeze in a work out. It's all good though. I'll get there.
