August 31 - What I'm Thankful for Today

8 days until I get the keys. 
I'm thankful for the YWCA this morning. I had a wonderful workout in the pool before my spare suit sported a hole.
I'm thankful I went to Wal-Mart after the Y. I got the last one-piece swimsuit. It's a size larger than I normally wear, but we all know sizes vary. When I got it home, it fits perfectly and it's chlorine resistant. On sale for half price - $14. I can't even get that kind of deal online. I can go back to the pool tomorrow.
I'm thankful for getting the notifications finished when I got home. It's great seeing what you're doing in your corner of the world.
I'm thankful for the two-hour nap after I finished with the notifications this morning. These lack of sleep nights are putting a toll on me.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Destination Love when I got up from my nap. I made a correction to the storyline this morning. Note, this is not the next novel I'm publishing. That one is Where Eagles Soar. I'll get started on that one when I move.
I'm thankful for watching a couple of shows. I found a new fun series on Peacock. I love the Madagascar movies. I found Madagascar: A Little Wild series. If you love the lion, giraffe, hippo, and zebra as much as I do, monkeys too, you'll love the younger version.
I'm thankful that when I stepped on the scale this morning, I lost three pounds. With all the rain and lack of exercise, and yes, eating too, I gained six pounds. Losing three since yesterday, felt good. My eating is also under control again.

That's great. I'm sure you'll be thankful when you're moved in to your new place and you can put that chapter behind you. It's hot today, but I am thankful for the cloudcover. Because that's important, too. Hoping we get some rain overnight tonight.

It sounds like you are doing super well. I'm thankful for last night. My husband sat down with me and listened to this years Yule Tale. This Tale went a little long so it takes an effort to really think about it. My husband is an excellent editor- things like a wrong name, repeats etc. catch his ear. This short story is about 9 pages long. I write with detail. I paint with my words so each single word means something. There is little flotsam. While we were at it, he mentioned another short story that I wrote last year- a ghost story and missing Mom combo. That was fun to revisit.

I am thankful I could my swim in and it didn't rain, and that I finally got a haircut. It looks good if I do say so myself.

No, they don't last long, even the chlorine resistant. I think three months at the most. Yes, they can be very expensive. I wait for sales on the site I buy my suit on. This time I couldn't get it online. I needed it now. I'm glad Wal-Mart had one left in my size.
With my move getting closer, my excitement has mounted and I'm sleeping less. Those naps are awesome.

'm thankful I've had a perfect vacation and I'm grateful I have an amazing family and I'm grateful that the Korna tests I did after the vacation came back negative and I'm grateful for the health I have. And by the way you get loads and loads of stuff in a little while, I need to learn from you well done to you I respect you
