Buying clothes according to Exam protocol

NTA has released the list of items to be allowed in exam room on the exam day and the items which are prohibited and the clothes that can be worn on the exam day by the candidates..i had a few clothes that matches their protocol but uncle told me to wear only plain white clothes without any thing printed or written on it, so that it would be easier to pass the check-in and i would not face any issues. I have to remove my nosepin and earrings and the religious thread i wear on my right hand perior to the exam as it is also not allowed there also i am cutting my hairs extremely short as i have shoulder length hair which should be kept open during the exam and it would be very uncomfortable for me to give exams with open hairs thus, i have decided to trim it to almost my ears(close to boy cut)

Haha lol. My friends are also going through that no nose pins thing. I don't have any nose pins though I have earrings. But you sure you can't manage anything of the hair. Like I also have shoulder length hair. But I can still tie them. But I suppose it's better to cut hair than marks. After all I'm not giving this exam. Best of luck!

It's okay... we can tease her about being a boy in disguise after she cuts her hair.

Yes, there is a option of keeping your hairs open during the exam but as you know shoulder length hairs are extremely difficult to manage if kept untied and while writing the exam i cannot manage it thus, i am cutting it to really short, also pinning, clipping or hairbands are prohibited

Those are really strict rules. Why don't you fold your hair instead of cutting it?

Using clips or hair bands are not allowed and you can use a single rubber band to tie your hairs if your hairs are below your back

Oh, my! Will we get to tease you about wearing your hair short after the exam? I wonder why they are so strict about what you can wear while taking the exam?

@ThatDisha *shrug* I've been blocked before... not for teasing, that's true, but being blocked isn't so bad. The person that blocks me is the one who misses out on having fun. Ahh.. I wondered if it had something to do with cheating. If you want, I'll tell them you wouldn't cheat. You don't need to cheat. You're too smart and honest to cheat.

Haha..do you wanna get blocked This is so because hairbands, clips, clothes may have cheats or cheating source and since it is a national level exam no form of illegal practice should be done there hence such strict rules have been formulated

These protocols have been designed so as to ensure that no means of unethical practices are performed in the examination, as it is a national level exam which millions of students give each year just for few hundred seats thus, the government do not take any chances.

If it was my daughters, they would drop the exam but not cut their waist-long hair.I had to cajole my elder one to get it trimmed a bit last week and finally she agreed. Why such strict rules? Especially about the hair thing, it does not make any sense to me.

@ThatDisha Sounds like a regime rule Well, that gives you an excuse to shop too. You can pick something more than what you actually need for just an exam.Have a good time studying and meeting the exam with your full confidence

Haha..many of my friends too are opting for open hairs rather than cutting it..i am not sure on what basis they have given such protocols i guess so that no students can bring cheat paper to examination hall in any way..there are other rules too about the clothing also the undergarment should not contain any kinds of hooks or extra laces etc only sports one are allowed and we are allowed to wear slippers to the exam centre

@ThatDisha but still, that's too much. we have assistants walking around and if someone's "fishy" they stop next to him and examine him. and what about girls who wear hijabs? they can cheat so easily, but still you can't make them not wear it.

@aureategloom there are special protocols for girls wearing hijab or sikhs wearing turbans Those who cannot put off their bangle or scarf or anything like that due to religious reasons have to reach the examination centre 3 hours or 2 hours perior to exam conduction and have to go through a special check-in process where it would be sured that they are not carrying any illegal stuffs
@ThatDisha (4010)

Yes, but they have to do so to ensure no unethical means are being used in examination

Now the rules are more strict than ever before. I am sure nobody can cheat now. Even otherwise, now those who cheat can be caught red handed since there CCTV installed. How many days is this exam? Is it in Mumbai?

Cctvs are being installed since previous few years also but the dress protocols and the things to be carried and not are the new rules released in last 2 years and this time the hair protocol is beyond imagination, don't know how strict the examiners would be this time. From today 12 days are left for examination It's conducted throughout the country in different centres on a single day
