I'm thinking more stressful for mom than for the kids...

Schools nowadays needs to adjust their curriculum so it doesn't add stress to kids.

@rakski that is extremely difficult to pull off considering the situation that we are in.

@allen0187 I agree and given their age. They were not that techy since last year

I think they do that since they know that their students will be assisted by their parents in preparing their assignments. Whereas if they are in schools they will do that on their own.
That is something different now that the lessons are delivered straight online so if they will offer something similar to what they do in classes it will be easier for the students with the help of their parents.

haha... we don't complicate things. We want your children to know better. You know it is preparation for life.

I'm willing to bet the teachers just like to keep things fun for parents and students... You can't blame them for wanting to see how enterprising people are, especially at the last moment.

@DaddyEvil huh!?! I think so too. Last year, they did not even know how to operate zoom and other platforms, now they became the computer wizards

@DaddyEvil I'm glad I don't have kids at school. I'd never be able to help them pass.

Your children are lucky you are able to help, not all parents are as good at homework as you.

This is the case in most Indian schools. Government school performance is very bad where children learn hardly anything. We therefore put our children in private schools where parents have to work hard a lot. I too had the same stressful time when my children were in school.
