Do black people get offensive if a white person calls another white person a NlGGER? I don't relate the word to race as much as what I relate to what its meaning is. So if I call somone that and a black person hears will they take offense or not care? If a black person called their black friend a cracker in front of me I could care less. I asked before and got no responses...Come on people don't let me down!

I realize that much... but what I want to know is... if I use the word refering to a white person... would a black person hearing me say this word get upset?

To answer your question... YES! It's very offensive when a any race uses the "N" word towards another person. Regardless of whatever race the other person is. If I hear anyone saying the "N" word, just like you typed too... I take it offensively. That word came from racism and those who use it are racists.
