Did you know that, according to surveys conducted by researchers at the University of London, nudists have higher levels of self-esteem and life satisfaction than non-nudists? And that those higher levels of self-esteem and life satisfaction get even higher the more often they involve themselves in nudist activities? Those benefits seem to be worth a little initial embarrassment...if you are the type who would be embarrassed to be nude around strangers. But I wonder just how much the actual nudity has to do with it. I'd like to see a study that surveys people who simply aren't bothered or offended by nudity, whether they actually engage in nudism or not. I suspect they are generally more happy and satisfied than those who think nudity is the end of the world.
