Covid close to home

We just learned that good friends of ours both have Covid.
Larry and Debra are in their 60's and she's in good health, but he's smoked for many years and had a heart attack a while back.
They're more than friends, their son married our daughter so we share a granddaughter with them.
Kristin was the first grandbaby on both sides, so we all spoiled her! She was a delight to everyone around her. She was baptized at four and sang specials in church when she was eight or nine.
Kristin's the one getting married next May. At 31 she's still that funny, bubbly girl with such a good sense of humor. She always loved to play "bride." I made many a veil and wedding dress over the years!
Anyway, we're very concerned about our friends. We go to the same church now and they're very dear to us. Please pray for them...thank you so much.

I will pray for them and hope they recover quickly? Did they get vaccinated? Less danger if they did but of course you can still get quite sick.

No, they didn't get the vaccine. Tried to talk them into it. They're both getting infusions. How is Brandon?

@1creekgirl That is adorable.
She was surely meant to be a bride.
With me it was babies, I was always playing with dolls, pretending that they were my little babies.

I got a text that they're not too bad, but at their age, that could change.

I wish them the best of luck. Apparently my family members on my husband's side got it, only one went to the hospital. Then again, she's the type who'd go to the E.R. for a stubbed toe, so.... but I wish your loved ones well.
