Because I have a cold and because I finally get to visit with family after almost two years. It was a rapid test which isn't as accurate and can test false negative unless you've had symptoms for several days already. The cold began on Tues and today is Friday here and it was negative but accurately so. The cold is already better also.
Another qualifying factor is that I never lost my sense of taste or smell.
My cupboards from IKEA are still not here so it's fun finding something for supper as most of our canned foods are in boxes. I do have hamburger and chicken in the freezer so I'm opting to make a small batch of chili for supper tonight. (After I had all the ingredients cooking I wondered if I could find the cumin in the boxes but I finally did can't have chili without cumin.
I'm still not here a lot yet but I expect that to change soon as I have more time in the winter months when I should be getting bookkeeping accomplished.
My brother has a large camper and a sister from Virginia is going with them to stay in traverse city for the long weekend. Traverse city is a popular city for tourists although I've never stayed there before. It's about a two hour drive.
A few of us got a hotel for overnight sat into Sunday and the hotel is within walking distance from the campgrounds. We will enjoy ourselves visiting.

Yes it does. I'm about ready to cancel the shipment except it's nearby they just can't seem to get it to us when they say they will.

@JudyEv I blame it on COVID but mostly because the government paid people a lot of money to stay at home and not work and now many don't want to work anymore. There is workers needed signs everywhere.

@MarshaMusselman We've had trouble with supply over here too. They blame it all on COVID which could be true I guess.

@Mavic123456 oh yes. I had both by April. Haven't had the third one yet. I'm thinking of getting the yearly flu shot which I've never done plus the one for pnumonia (sp?)

@MarshaMusselman hope the NyQuil works. That stuff knocks me out so I usually get a good night's sleep when I take it

I quit treating the cold when it seemed to switch back to allergies. But then it seemed like the cold was back so I'll be treating it with nighttime NyQuil which seems to cut the runny nose which is nice.

@MarshaMusselman if you still cough try to eat raw onions. I had nonestop cough last month and no lemons sold but my mind told me to eat raw onions and my cough stopped Actually, I shared it here and many were delighted. I eat raw onions mixed with half cooked sweet peas.

The weekend with my siblings was the best. Even though Saturday was a cold rainy day it still was worth the time together.

Because of the holiday week the cupboards may still take an additional week but we're hopeful we can begin the project before months end. I always enjoy family time. I hope I stay warm enough outside with the cooler weather and all.

I have had rapid response tests and others as well. I have not had covid. I hate living out of boxes.

That sounds great..in addition to Covid, people still have cold, flu and allergies. The lady I was sitting by yesterday was sniffling the whole time. She either had a cold or allergies I guess. They took our temps when we came in to do the group.

I found out that the common symptom to fully vaccinated people is cold symptoms which I didn't know. But in addition loss is taste and smell which some have with a cold but not all.

Nope. There was a mix up. The papers for the without the shipment. But others have been waiting much longer for ones ordered by American companies so I'm trying not to fret.

I hope it is an accurate negative. I worry everytime I get together with others.

They said it was accurate because I had my symptoms for several days by the time I went for the test. If it was closer to when the Simpsons began it would have been better too get the test with a two day result time for better accuracy.
I don't worry about being around others and I see well over fifty or more strangers per day some wear masks and others don't.

The chili was good and blessed my husband. Now he'll have something to eat while I'm gone. He was invited but forgot to request time off so has to work tomorrow.
