Last Christmas my second mom gave my cats some toys. One of them "chirped" when it was touched. It was white and in the shape of a mouse I think. Adso LOVED it. We would play "fetch" for like an hour straight. He would carry it around all over the place. It was GREAT when he would play with it at 2 am. It is MIA. I don't know where it is but neither of us can find it and that is A-OK with me. My downstairs neighbor gave the cats a big bag of mixed toys. I've put out a few during the course of the year. Some they like and some they ignore. The one that has surprised me is a fluffy white toy mouse. It doesn't make noise like the other one. It doesn't contain cat nip. It just is what it is. Adso loves it! He carries it around from room to room. He will get himself into the most random place with it (up in my bookcase behind the books) and leave the mouse there. Within an hour he is back up there to retrieve it. He REMEMBERS where he leaves it. It is after 2 am here and he is happily carrying his mouse around the apartment. You never know what these nuts are going to like. You can spend $20 on a fancy toy. You can give them a 50 cent toy. Cats are crazy.
