What does this pandemic brings aside from economic crisis ;
Anxiety , stress , depression and whatnot?
Here in my place a lot of people lost their job , their business and even loved ones
I stopped my food business for a while too ( scared to come out ).
During lockdown most of us stayed home , either doing nothing or making effort to do a living.
This also give us more time with our family.
Watching movies together , eat together and do lot of things with our loved ones.
What keeps you going during lockdowns dear MyLotters?
My son started vlogging for timepass
Have a great day everyone

I agree.
For some people it was good for some it was bad.
Those who were not affected much especially in terms of economy...got some space from daily busy life...got time to spend with their family had a good time.
While for those who lost their jobs and lost their loved ones...It was bad

No lockdown here even if we have high cases, but I do my daily routine just like how I always do it. I don't really go out even before covid19 so lockdown doesn't really have big impact to my daily activities.
I just hope this pandemic could go away soon (and never comeback)

I gained 5 kgs since pandemic. I keep buying foods from food delivery apps, but I don't work out much. They really spoil me with vouchers and discounts. In my excuse to myself, it's okay to gain a little weight I buy foods to help the local businesses and delivery workers, they help me to stay at home and avoid the crowd.
It is sad to know many people lost their income, I know some friends in tourism industry who lost their job and now they sell homemade foods.

Aw , I can relate to that gain weight (^ __ ^ ) I've been there but now I am doing my best to get back in shape.
We did try selling online and deliver food but due to on and off lockdown I decided to stopped it. Maybe will have to reopen when things gets better (let's hope and pray).
Thanks for sharing and have a great day

Yes, that's the good thing the pandemia did bring - stopped us from our busyness and made us spend time with our loved ones.
I took to planting my own vegetable patch, in case the food becomes scarce. I have kangkong and camote tops, plus ginger, dill, insulin plant, oregano, etcetera.

I am a homemaker and so did not feel the pinch much except of we found it difficult to go to the market which was restricted. My son is working from home and I am happy that has given us a chance to stay in our own home town.

Hello mam Anindita ,
That's one advantage this pandemic and lockdown gives , spending more time with our loved ones
My daughter was also given the chance to work from home since last year and til this day.
Going to market is also one of the disadvantage and also going to supermarket.
Shopping online is a good option for buying our groceries but it is not as good as picking the best buys.
Thanks for sharing and have a great day

@jaiho2009 We do get good quality groceries online in my city but at times we don't get everything we want. For vegetables and non-vegetarian items however my son has to go to the market for non-vegetarian items are not available online and vegetables quantity is too much for the two of us.

I hate this virus but it is here and who knows for how long. I go out whenever I have to and hate it but so glad when come back home. I am not sure what will help during that. Lockdowns have not really been the answer because people still gather in crowds and do not follow rules. It has been hard on so many that lost jobs and on families. It is a very very hard time and who knows when it will end.

Hi Jaiho.
We had a lock down last year but I was fortunate that I was given the full salary even though I didn't go to the office for around 2 months.
Yes there are people who lost their job in the pandemic and still struggling to survive.
I have learned to value the family more than anything during this lockdown.

Aside from the things you mentioned and aside from me being anxious the fast few months, I started feeling alone (I was literally alone in my apartment in Manila), so I went to my brother's house where my sister and her family is here also.

My youngest son was also left alone in our house in Manila for almost half a year and he keep asking us to come back.home.because he said it's too lonely being alone during this pandemic.
He said , it feels so lonely and strange being alone during this time compared before pandemic.
Glad that you are now staying with your brother and other loved ones.

Extreme ECQ just started again yesterday in our area and I also stopped my food business because I am scared not for myself but for my daughter and the whole family. I use this time to create more memories; quality ones with her like playing with her, watching together and go to the beach with her:)

When Lockdown, we can't go to shopping malls or super market, so I buy online. Though the express companies disinfect the packages, I also disinfect them when they arrive.
Lockdown also means 'NO TRAVEL' to me. I can't travel to see my parents and siblings. My husband can't go home to us,he's working in Italy.
But, the good part is, My life seems peaceful in staying home.I hate crowded places. As for me, nothing beats the feeling of being home. I get to spend time with my child and able to prepare him for school.

Hello Heze,
Yes , we are prompted to stay home and online business becomes the trend for many of us (thanks to those people who sacrifices to deliver our needs , groceries , foods and other things ).
I am also a homebody person so being at home doesn't become a stranger to me.
It is just sad that we cannot visit our loved ones and they can't come to see us as well.
Thanks for sharing and have a great day
