My goal: Read Harry Potter book 1

My eldest son has always been asking me to read the books he like or he has read. I think it's good for me to read the books, so I can discuss with him. He always likes to tell what he has read or likes about the books.
At first I planned to finish reading book 1 in August, but I wasn't feeling well and I was quite lazy to read as well. I will have to finish reading this book by next week, otherwise I promise to give an extra 30 minute game time to my eldest.
So my goal for next week is to finish reading this book 1.
Are you reading any book right now?

What's wrong with an ebook? Our new house is so small we don't have room for my paper/ink library in the house so those are all stored in the garage here. I've downloaded my entire library in ebook form and have it on the Kindle Cloud... It's not as good as holding the real books and reading them but I can manage with it.

@DaddyEvil you know, holding and smelling it, put cute bookmark on the page, small things like that but really precious. I don't have place for books and I left all my books at my mom's. And I don't have extra money to buy the real book too. Now I only log in to openlibrary and try to find something I like.
Reading eBook is killing my eyes. I get migraine often because of it.

@Cheyee What app are you using to read your ebook with? If you've got the Kindle app, you can change the background to black and the letters to white. I do that because I used to get migraines from reading black letters on a white screen... No more migraines now.
OpenLibrary is good. You can get free ebooks almost as fast as Amazon gets them to sell.
Edit to add: I always used clear plastic as a bookmark and wrote my name or initials on it so I could see it when it wasn't in the books.

I read the Harry Potter books. They are ok. Right now I'm reading The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis. I'm hoping to finish it today or tomorrow. I'm reading The Lion, The Witch and The wardrobe next.

Do you like to read? If you do, I can tell you a good free ebook site. The site works all around the world. Even if you don't like to read, you might know someone or have someone in your family who would be interested in getting free ebooks. The site is b-ok.cc

I'm always reading... I'm on the third book in Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan series. (I'm reading the series for the third or fourth time...)
My mom liked the same type books that I read. When I'd finish with a book I'd give it to her to read. She read just as fast as I did but she didn't really have the money to buy new books. When she'd finish them we'd donate them to the local library.
I did give you the free ebook site I use, right? (I think I did, but can't be sure... b-ok.cc ) You can get five free ebooks in 24 hours or, if you give them your email address, you can download ten free ebooks in 24 hours. I download them to my laptop and then upload them to my Kindle library and read the books on my phone, my tablet (I have a Kindle Fire.) or on my laptop. (The Kindle app uses the .mobi type of ebook. And you can store them free in the Kindle Cloud.)
