A crazy weekend... let's cheer up with some bright blooms.

Good morning from this side of the planet. It's 10:54 AM here and I have a break for some 20 minutes before I go to my next session. I have last session of the day from 11:20 to 12:00 and that would be all for the day at job
I was totally missing here on the weekend. It was a crazy weekend and I ended up working more hours than a regular weekday. It was a series of meetings, workshops and webinars. Phew! It has left me too tired. And few crazy things happened in personal life too. Well, I will make a separate discussion about my crazy weekend sometime later today.
I wish today was a holiday. I woke up with a whining mood or Monday's blues. And to add up to my grief, husband has less work and relaxed day today. His counterparts in the US are on long weekend, and he has a less busy schedule
But then morning walk and some exercise in the fresh air helped to get the energy for a long day ahead. And the sun also smiled in the sky after three days of non stop rain. I hope that rain goes away for few days. Maybe it visits those who really need it
I should answer some notifications till it's time to work. I have piled up a lot of them on the weekend.
The picture is of my terrace garden. These gorgeous roses made my mood uplift in the morning.
Catch you later.

I also had a busy week. I was at a sister-in-law's home last week as my FIL was in hospital so we all decided to stay at her home as the hospital is nearby her home. On Sunday only we returned home and it was a busy day as one of my ACs was not working so had to buy a new one. My FIL will come to our home once get discharged from the hospital.

How is your FIL? We too had to go for a new AC last month after avoiding for a long time.
Which brand is it?

I hope all is well and settled at your end. How is your father in law doing now? These situations can be exhaustive and a big toll on emotional health too. Take good care of yourself and your family.

Walk always helps to energize. Glad I do that.
We had no sunny day in August, hardly a few hours some days. It annoyed us. It has been raining into September too but we are getting some breaks in between with bright sunny days.

@arunima25 I understand. We took those days after school or had staff development days built into our calendar. I would have killed myself if I had to give up a weekend day for that.

The schools were closed. I had to do a ten-day-long workshop and certification to add to my job profile. It was on weekdays after work time and a full day on weekends. It was hectic. I needed to take the certification. We need to do that as a part of professional obligation and growth.

The Blooms make me feel happy as well. I was in driving over the weekend plus getting my Fridge repaired.
The plus point being that even though reluctantly, the lazy us finally got to clean the Fridge.
But yes, a few things got spoiled but thanks to a relatively cooler weather due to rains, the damage was not much.
Today evening I finally got some good time for Mylot, FC and another site.
Now, planning to do my evening exercise.

I need to buy and plant some roses but that will not be until next spring. I think I am going to start a secret flower fund, just for spring planting. It is a holiday here in the US. I am sorry you do not have a day off.
