September Weight Loss Challenge - Day 7

Technically I have only done it about 3 days....but I should be done with day 7 now. Let's talk numbers. Weigh in - I went up 1.4 pounds since last time I weighed in (190.6) Blood sugars - Fasting - 281 Meal 1 - 192 Meal 2 - 186 Meal 3 - 171 I know all of them are high, yes. I need to stop getting off track...but carbs are hard to resist, especially when you are a picky eater. So - what did I eat? Meal 1 - 4 slices deli turkey, 1 cheese stick and followed that with Lily's peanut butter cups (2 net carbs) I worked out after this meal for 50 minutes or so (509 calories burned) - Drank a zipfizz (2 carbs) Meal 2 - 1/4 pound beef frank from costco (4 carbs) Meal 3 - 4 slices deli turkey, 2 cheese sticks Was not the best day because I just did not want to cook at all. I did make some ice cream, although I didn't have enough ice so it didn't freeze up as it should have....so will have it tomorrow sometime. Least I have 1 meal ready for tomorrow, lol. Macros: Calories - 947 Protein - 76 Fat - 60 Net Carbs - 17 Sugars - 4 So what do you think of this day of eating (besides my sugars being high...I already know). Need to find some easy things to make to eat lol.

I'm struggling with figuring out what to eat too. I think you did good, regardless. Are you still doing the alternate keto?

@MommyOfEli2013 Honestly, all I pay attention to is the carbs. The calorie intake doesn't cross my mind.

Sorry to hear that you are too. It can be hard to figure out. What fits the macros? Do we really want to cook? lol. Thank you though. And I haven't even been doing regular keto most of the time honestly. But I do want to do the alternate days like I had planned....just haven't been doing well sticking to anything.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I am kind of the same way. I pay attention to macros (mainly carbs yes) but not really the calories. On protein sparing days I do try to get in less fat. Still don't count calories though

You didn't get enough calories! Your blood sugar dropped throughout the day; so that's a good thing.

Can never please anyone! lol. Normally PSMF days are going to be under 1,000 calories - but that was not a psmf day. Just didn't want to eat much/cook. Today I have been bad though

@LindaOHio Today is bad too....I may just need to go on insulin since I can't be trusted to stick to low carb.

Your calories are super low. Otherwise, I think you did well. Your numbers did come down with each meal, so that's a good thing.
