The other "things" my brother brought over.

Photos I took of rearranging the shelves w Mom and Dad's boxes on them.

Mom and Dad's boxes were on the mantel at home before my brother had to move them 'cause he was working on the house. He asked if I wanted them with me, and I said yes. I had to do a little rearranging, but there's a space for them, and I'm glad they're here. Sorry if anyone thinks it's creepy--actually, not really. If you do, move on to another post.

We have a cousin who has his mom's remains on a small shrine to her memory. And we were able to bury my dad's urn, but I would have GLADLY kept it in my home. I don't know why some people would find it creepy. Did the Precious Moments belong to your parents too, or are they yours?

Why would that be creepy? Are those your parents' remains or something? I'm sorry if that sounds insensitive.

No, you don't sound insensitive--and yes, they're my parent's remains. I don't know--some people just wouldn't want something like that around.

While I would never do it, I don't think. I get why people do. I don't find it creepy, it just isn't for me.
