It is already September and still no sign

We have many colours in bougainvillea and they normally show up in September. This year it is still raining and bougainvillea do not like rain.
We have still to trim them as they bloom better after trimming.
What havoc has rain caused where you are?

None except for no rain.
So it is very dry but not as dry as it has been.
We had not enough of it this year

Minor flooding and the usual overgrowth. Perhaps I can convince my husband to trim the flower bed. Some of the weeds keep brushing my skin when I turn a corrner.
