What song(s) do you know word for word?

Curious question. I think we all have a song memorized, and maybe that song changes. I don't have a song currently memorized. I guess there is not just one song that I've been singing lately, but rather a few. What songs can you sing word for word? Or, poems, what have you.. Is there something you have memorized that many others wouldn't?

Way too many to list, probably somewhere in the range of a few hundred if I had to guess. The one I currently have stuck in my head on repeat is Mayu Maeshima's Long Shot; before that I think it was Who-Ya Extended's Vivid Vice. The weirdest thing I've found that I memorize is object locations. Whenever I've had retail jobs people have constantly come to me because I tend to know exactly where things are, even if they're not supposed to be where they are. Kind of a cool party trick to pull out when completing a full inventory and everyone's running around like headless chickens trying to find the things that got missed in the initial scan.

That memorizing locations would definitely make a shift less stressful, that's for sure.

Some Christmas songs and a few songs I learned in church as a child. Pretty teases me about singing the Christmas songs because I'm more likely to sing them during the summer than I am at Christmas time.

@DaddyEvil But what if the Christmas songs bring on cooler weather? Better keep singing them just in case.

I'm kind of the same way. I'll sing them at Christmas, sure, but they pop into my head off-season.

Dozens and dozens of songs. Mainly from the 60s and 70s. Also, "Ohhho say can you see by the dawn's early light?..."

Ah yes, The Star Spangled Banner definitely one I remember. The National Anthem (or is that the same one?) too.

There are songs on the radio that I could probably sing from memory because I have heard them so many times, lol. At the moment nothing comes to mind though.

Ah yes, and even down to the little intro that they play before they announce the name of the radio station. The songs there.

Too many to list. I know many that I have not even heard in years. Funny how that works.

It truly is. It takes only a note to really get the head spinning and the tongue moving with the lyrics to the song.

well, in particular, there is "Hallelujah", worship songs from my primary school, my highschool school song which pops into my head and gets stuck frequently... Many pop and rock songs... Songs my friends have composed. Many many songs.

I'm wracking my brain. I don't think we had a high school song, but there was something we'd always sing at games.
