Picked Up Some Chocolates

Could not resist this two for one sale yesterday. I guess the stores are getting ready for Halloween already. Over a month away but the candy is out.
Have not had these little miniature chocolate candies in awhile. So I got two bags.
Now they are on my countertop calling my name. I will put them in the frig. Maybe that will help the frequent snacking. They are also great chilled as well.
I am not a snacker but it is funny when I have these in a dish close by, it is hard to resist. Are you the same?

I bought two bags of Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins a couple of days ago. I've only eaten two of them... so far, but they keep calling my name.

If the stores are going to start selling halloween candy this early, then we should be able to start trick-or-treating this early. I'm going to put on my costume and swing by your place this weekend!

this was timed perfectly - i was sitting in that meeting that took all day Wed and Thurs. On the table in front of me was the snack sized candy bowl.
so hard to not take some!

Got some dark chocolate and a Mars bar during my grocery run. Those Hershey bars look delicious!

I have not had chocolate in a long time but when I do I prefer getting some dark chocolate with sea salt, I do remember liking these as a child, My mom and dad used to have people over quite often and they would bring boxes of chocolates. When my mom discovered that I was mooching from all those boxes she stored them away and gave a chocolate a day otherwise I was eating way too much,

I allow myself one special treat each day. If it's small candy bars, it would be two that day. As a diabetic, I can't just consume sweets, as if it doesn't matter.
