Everyone Get Their Covid Shot/s?

I hope everyone has gotten their Covid shots. I had tried several times and wasn't able to. Once I planned to go down the street to my usual medical clinic. I called them and they told me that the hospital they are affiliated with chose several of their clinics and such around the area and this one wasn't one they chose. So then, a month or so later I added stopping off at my local drug store at the end of one of my medical appointments but I was just too tired. That was the eye appointment where we got there a few minutes early and checked in as usual. The receptionist told me they had sent me a notice that they had to change my appointment time to a later time. I hadn't gotten any such "message" either in the mail, on the phone, or in an email. So, anyway I was too tired after setting in the waiting room for over 2 hours in a very uncomfortable wheelchair and just went home. Then I tried AGAIN about a month later. I called the Health Department and they had nurses coming out to the homes of senior citizens in the county and giving them their Covid shots. So I finally got it. And, I got the J & J one like I wanted so I don't have to worry about getting another one in two weeks. Yeah!

Yes, Pretty and I got ours in April/May. We got Moderna.
Some people are weird about getting the vaccination.

I keep hearing the excuse that it is against their religion. Weird to me. One more reason I am not a religious enthusiast.

@celticeagle The funniest part of that is all of the religions except those that don't believe in modern medicine tell their followers that getting the vaccine is perfectly fine...

I would have mine about the same time if my clinic had been chosen to give them.

@celticeagle I was in the second category to have the vaccine, they vaccinated all those above 80 first, than all those above 70 and in the meantime I turned 70.

I haven't gotten the shot, and I don't want to (I never get any of the flus going) but my province has made it mandatory or we can't go to most places without proof of getting it, so I probably will get it.

Yes I've had both shots, months ago. I'm sorry to read you had so much trouble getting yours. The vaccination programme in my country's gone pretty smoothly by comparison. It's been surprisingly well organised - I say surprising, because the National Health Service is not usually a model of efficiency, but the system's worked in this case. They've let everyone know when it's their turn to get vaccinated, then it's just a case of making an appointment. Hopefully it won't be too long before America catches up - the sooner all countries achieve herd immunity, the better off we'll all be.

No side effects. Just a bit of a stiff arm for the evening after. I was hoping this would all be over by 2022.
