Are you suspicious of people with fake looking teeth?

I know this is a slightly odd subject, but it's been on my mind since I was a teenager.
I love it when people smell good, and have good breath.
But I've always been suspicious of people with "perfectly straight teeth."
Back in my college days, I called such teeth "suburban teeth." I suspected braces.
When Donald Trump Jr. was talking into the camera about how "this is going to be really great," as the attack on the capitol unfolded, I noticed his teeth.
They looked fake. I think he's had "work done." Motivational speakers with "suburban teeth" scare me, like clowns.
Do you notice people's teeth?

I had braces when I was young, and I have nice, straight teeth. I guess "suburban teeth" is probably a pretty good description of it. But I'm still the real deal, even with my suburban teeth! lol

They're dentures, aren't they? You can tell us...

@moffittjc Technically, if you paid for your dentures, they are your "real" teeth.

Yes, but I don’t say anything. I was teased mercilessly about my teeth (I have gray teeth because of tetracycline) when I was in elementary school, so I don’t talk about people’s falsies. Or their teeth.

I notice teeth, especially if they're rotten, crooked, or missing. Or discolored. Or even if they're really nice looking. The nice ones don't scare me, but the long pointy ones do...

I start finding flaws in others looks when I am uncomfortable with them, and cannot let them know due to social constraints. I am really EVIL. Kiddo's paternal grandmother...I think she has teeth like the street dogs ...and her facial muscles crinkle up on nose and cheeks just like dogs when they are threatening. LOL. Ironically, her facial muscles do that when she is laughing or getting away with something that requires some control, and others are holding back because they do not want "drama".

@TheHorse The situation at present is...kiddo's mom feels there is nothing wrong with her ma in law preventing me being invited for a wedding...whoa. Her words "Aunty we are losing you and it is making us sad... we know we have used you a lot... and I really don't know what wrong we have done for this.." after I told her the issues. When I in no uncertain terms told her, look her ma in law is a definite no no person for my life, she says either accept us or disconnect completely. I disconnect. I cannot be stressing over next impending humiliation. The idea seems to be take charge of our in laws ..what have you got, you have no kids ..you need some occupation, after all aunt is not around...that is annoying. The woman would not hesitate in asking me to drive her around. I would become her major domo. LOL. She is like that. LOL

Yes, I notice teeth. I notice if they aren't straight, have missing teeth in front and are badly stained. I also notice if there is food stuck in someone's teeth. (BTW, you have a bit of hay stuck in your front teeth. Just letting you know.)

Nice teeth has nothing to do with a person and where they come from. Most dentist would want you to have straight teeth. I had brace in my teen years did most harm then good for me. Genetically my teeth are bad which I turns my kids teeth ware bad as well. Crown and caps help protect the teeth that had been exposed so they don’t get infected. Infection hurt, teeth breaking test hurts. I’m my adult life I’ve told my husband when I get the chance I’m having most of my teeth removed instead of a pain week on end rebuilds have them put permanent caps. Which means they drill into your bones and put fake ones in. I’m not going with bright white I’m more of yellow white they matches my that are already permanent fakes.

@TheHorse Hang in...stem cells teeth are on way. They will just pull out the teeth and inject those stem cells...and make you wear some denture shaped things ..no talking for 1 month...practice being saintly... the new ones will arrive. Painlessly, and cheaply too.

Sometimes I am. It depends on the whole person when I meet them. But the teeth can add to the impression

Actually, I have no one to notice at all. My own teeth need some help but as long as I can chew and there is no pain I just muddle along, Perhaps with his money he had false teeth put in so he does not have to have dentures,

@TheHorse it could be, I knew a guy whose teeth were so bad that he chose to have them removed and false ones screwed in so he would never have to worry about his teeth and eventually about them falling out,

In a way, anyone who looks too perfect makes you feel they are trying too hard. But I also can't help feeling a bit uncomfortable around the opposite - I remember once when I was 19 or 20, sleeping in a train station somewhere in Germany and waking up to find I was being watched by a man who seemed to have all metal teeth. That was kind of creepy.

I hate when people have teeth so white they are blinding. No one's teeth are that white naturally. Why can't people keep their teeth their natural color?
Some people are all about the fake. Fake nails, fake lashes, fake eyebrows, fake hair, etc.... Whatever happened to being happy in your own skin?

@TheHorse And what about those long pointy nails that seem to be in fashion? Are people trying to imitate having claws or being a beast?

If they do, I always assume they have more money than I do. I had a really good co worker who joined our team who was "in process" of getting her beautiful teeth. I trust her, but not everyone.

On the other hand I do find people with slightly odd teeth attractive! I always found David Bowie appealing as there was something a little bit unusual about his teeth!

Yes. You can usually spot fake teeth.
