A only need another thing to have a perfect dinner but it is on its way. I´m making an awesome green salad to eat later as a desert. I have lettuce, arugula, raw mushrooms. I will make a dressing blue cheese and homemade mayo. Do you make your own salad dressings? I know Coral (@TheSojourner ) does. That was another point in common in Aruba.

I do make a good Dijon vinaigrette. But I often get lazy and opt for Marie's blue cheese dressing.

There are very easy homemade dressiungs. I don´t think that I have ever bought a dressing.

@marguicha I add mayonaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder and dill and mix it all together and it is really delicious.

My salad dressing is mostly curds garnished with mustard paste for some salads and some just with a bit of sugar and salt.

@marguicha When I was young the ready made salad dressing did not even exist in Italy, it is a recent addition for the lazy young generations.

@marguicha I cannot get the ingredients for salads as I only order groceries once a month and fresh salad ingredients would not last, I only have convenience store withing walking distance,

The easiest is salt, oils and vinegar. But there are thousand dressings that you can read at the web.

I do not like dressing on my salad but my husband does. We buy store dressing mostly Kraft dressing.
