Tire leaks air on my new car

I've been busy and haven't been on here much. Kids, appointments, etc. Some weeks there is nothing going on and other weeks there is too much. No happy medium here it seems, at least not for now, but at least it isn't boring.
Somehow I picked up a nice big nail in my right rear tire. The light came on saying the tire was low so I put air in, we have potholes and a person hits them sometimes. I thought that was probably the problem, but no. Today I had one of my sons watch the tire while I backed up, he yelled to stop, so I got out and looked. Big silver nail imbedded in there.
I didn't swear, but I sure did want to. Now I will have to wait until Monday to get it fixed. These things always happen on a weekend.

I am so sorry about your tire but glad you found out what the problem was. Things come up and we cannot always be here.

Better a tire than a whole car being destroyed. I try hard to look at the positive. If I didn't, I would go crazy! LOL

@MarieCoyle It's fixed, good as new. The culprit was a SCREW! Of course! LOL!

My sons are very helpful. I don't usually even have to ask, they just do stuff. I know how fortunate I am to have such good adult children.

@MarieCoyle I know how irritating it is, it happened to us and we were 100 miles from home.

It won't. It's more irritating than anything. Thanks.
