Is parenting today a much more difficult job than ancient days?

I think so. Today's parenting is difficult, what with modern gadgets. Children addiction to the smart phone itself is highly annoying to any parent.

Rightly said. It has new set of challenges. I also feel children does what they see their parents doing. Most Parents too are on these gadgets for more time

And so many parents also being addicted for using smartphones without paying attention to their children. Several months ago, there was a news told a mother that was shocked because her son ate a cockroach.

Yes I believe it would be. Luckily I have no small children.
