If A Kitten Or Puppy Is Only Fed Cat Food Or Dog Food

Last year, we were offered a kitten.
This is the first time we're having a cat food-only cat that is also an indoor-only cat.
When a kitten or puppy is raised only on cat food or dog food, will it never be interested in human food?
Are pets raised on cat food or dog food only healthier? More active? Live longer?

I've always wondered if some pets are just foodies, while others are not.

Sometimes, sis lets it smell human food when she notices that it's curious. It will smell the food, but not eat it.

Pets fed with only dog food/cat food are assured of getting the right amount of nutrition in their food compared if they get left-overs.

I noticed she has a slight belly. She's on a diet now.
