Did You Ever Have a Dream Come True?

As a Christmas gift last year, our younger son’s girlfriend gave him the gift of driving a race car.
He finally used it on Saturday. He chose this 448 Spirit Ferrari.
Apparently, sports cars now have paddles instead of those manual clutch things. Who knew?
He FaceTimed a little while ago to tell us all about taking the curves and how powerful that car was. Loved every minute of his gift.
He’s been investigating buying one, but we talked him out of it. It’s a ticket waiting to be given. Besides, he has a 1994 Supra in his garage, his SUV, and soon his girlfriend’s car will be parked there on a permanent basis.
Another dream come true.

I know, I know---people don't believe me--I don't dream or if I do I don't remember them!
Now in real life I have had most things I wanted (and a few I needed! LOL)
I would say something about men and sportscars but I don't want his Mama smacking me!!

The car looks awesome! Yet it can be driven in open and less crowded roads but not in busy roads.

@DianneN Also the one of the step father of my husband is red, the police followed him many times, not to give tickets, but to check his identity, if he pays taxes, if the car was not stolen... it's a car that only gives him problems, but he does not give up. Every times he has a mechanical problems he calls my cousin who lives in Maranello, as her son-in-law works at the Ferrari factory in Maranello.

My brother had a red Ferrari. It needed tuneups constantly and the state police followed him on the highway dying to give him a ticket. He had to drive miles to a place where he could open it up - drive at high speeds. After several years, he got rid of it.

Great photo. He definitely doesn't need a Ferrari; but it's his money! Is his girlfriend moving in or are they getting married?

Why did it take him so long to use it? I am glad he doesn't have it permanently. He might be tempted to drive 90 all the time!

i use the paddles in my car when driving on really twisting roads. They allow for up and downshifts in the automatic transmission!!!
That was a cool car for your son to drive. i am jelly!!!!
