Given that I'm stuck at home a lot these days, I decided to get back to basics. I've been making guitar sound hole coasters again. I mostly give these to musician friends, but I've sold a few pairs for $20/pair. I guess you could say that adds to my MyLot earnings. My overhead for this hobby is quite low: free sound holes from guitar manufacturers. A little stain. A little polyurethane to make them waterproof. Felt bottoms from Hobby Lobby. A borrowed glue gun. I'll probably start a couple of new pairs today before heading off to Guitar Center to teach some lessons. What's on your agenda for this sunny and mild Tuesday?
